As Tyla's sensational track "Water" continues its ascent on the Billboard Hot 100, two musical powerhouses have added their magic touch: Travis Scott and Marshmello released their remixes on Friday (Nov. 17).

Travis Scott's signature flow, reminiscent of his 2017 hit "Know No Better," brings a unique vibe to the African smash hit. Meanwhile, Marshmello's remix introduces a fresh layer of buoyancy. The Houston rapper unveiled his version at GQ's Man of the Year party in Los Angeles.

"Water" currently sits at No. 18 on the Hot 100 and No. 5 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. It has dominated the U.S. Afrobeats Songs and World Digital Song Sales charts. The track also earned a 2024 Grammy nomination in the new Best African Music Performance category.

Tyla shared her excitement with Billboard during her October R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month interview, expressing pride in being a South African artist with an authentic sound resonating globally.

"This hasn't happened in so long for a South African artist, born and raised in South Africa, with an African song, with an African dance style. Everything is so authentic, and the fact that all of that managed to translate overseas is crazy," Tyla remarked. "I always wanted to be the biggest pop star in general. I didn't want to be the biggest African pop star. I just want to be the biggest pop star that was born and raised in Africa. And the fact that I'm already getting a good response from the world [means] I'm one step closer to that dream."
